Andy Black, founder of Questions for Couples

Questions for Couples was created with one goal in mind: to make it easy for couples to have more meaningful conversations. Whether you have been together for a few months or many years, it is always worth pausing to ask each other the questions that truly matter.

I am Andy Black — an online entrepreneur based in the UK who loves to travel. On a weekend away, my girlfriend and I opened a gift of “Couple Cards” expecting a quick hour together; we ended up in deep, honest conversation for much longer. We learned more about each other and about ourselves, and it genuinely helped us grow closer.

When I looked for a solid online experience like that, I found very little. After plenty of thinking, QuestionsForCouples.co.uk was born. I wanted this site to stay completely free and open for every couple — and it will, with new question decks added over time.

Why This Exists

Day-to-day life often keeps us busy with logistics, work, and routines. The conversations that help us grow closer — about values, dreams, fears, and feelings — can easily fall by the wayside. This tool is designed to gently bring those conversations back.

How It Works

Choose a question deck, load it up, and work through the questions together at your own pace. Each question is shown one at a time so you can give it your full attention. You can mark questions as completed, track your progress, and come back later to pick up where you left off.

Free, Private, and Simple

There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no personal data collected. Your progress is stored privately in your browser using localStorage, which means it stays on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.

Built for Real Couples

The questions are thoughtfully written to encourage genuine reflection and honest conversation. They cover topics like emotional intimacy, communication, shared values, future planning, trust, and self-awareness — the things that help relationships thrive.

We hope this tool helps you and your partner learn something new about each other, or simply enjoy a meaningful conversation together.
